We are very happy to offer Xsemble release 3.7 today. The focus of this release is improvements in UI (User Interface), UX (User Experience) and speed of burning. The new release may be downloaded from the download page.
Here is the complete list of changes:
- New icons used for inargs, outarg, exitpaths, inletpaths, params in component edit dialogs in the Developer’s Workbench
- New icons also added to the node edit dialogs in Assembler’s Workbench and Monitoring Workbench
- Navigate icon changed in the node edit dialogs in Assembler’s Workbench and Monitoring Workbench
- Brought control flow lists above data flow lists in component edit dialogs in the Developer’s Workbench
- Brought control flow lists above data flow lists in process node edit dialogs in Assembler’s Workbench
- In Developer’s Workbench, the dialog to generate IDE compatibility files now lets you choose the platform technology
- In Developer’s Workbench, there is a new “Apply” button in all component edit dialog boxes
- In Assembler’s Workbench, in every instance node, a new refresh button is added which refreshes it as per any changes in the base component
- In Component edit dialog, added buttons for moving up/down and cloning
- Added 3 buttons to Type edit dialogs, for moving list items up and down, cloning
- New move up and move down icons used in Menu edit dialog
- Icons used instead of text in the component implementation edit dialog; Added tooltips
- Removed outdated Sync Args button and View library instances button from Component implementation edit dialog
- ‘Template…’ button renamed to ‘Code Template…’ in Component implementation edit dialog for better clarity
- In Dependency Library dialog, added search button to search components
- Icons used instead of text in Dependency Library dialog for adding dependencies; Added tooltips
- Added Open Project button in Subproject node edit dialog box
- Type member edit dialog title made more explicit for new type member
- A warning is added when a component is getting saved without an implementation
- Removed unnecessary project migration message that appeared if there are no parameters
- In the generated code templates, possible values of parameters now appear in the templates
- Minor improvement to generated page template for JSP technology
- Facelift to the graph with the node borders made slightly darker
- Performance improvement in burn by reducing round trips, achieved by sending upfront needed components and libraries to Xsemble cloud
Update on March 22: A minor update to the release is up today. It’s release 3.7.1. It has corrections to the functionality of auto-updation of implementation files, and minor changes to the UI.
